The Centenary Stage Company, located on the campus
of Centenary College, will host the New Jersey Ballet for two performances
Sat. April 22nd at 8pm and Sunday April 23rd at 5pm. For over 43
years the New Jersey Ballet has been an integral part of the artistic
and cultural landscape of New Jersey, bringing dancers of international
stature from the United States, Russia, Japan, Bulgaria, South America,
and Mongolia to stages across the state. With its reputation in
artistic excellence, the NJ Ballet has attracted a considerable
number of major dance works which have been premiered in New Jersey.
The company performs works ranging from classical to contemporary,
with a repertory that includes works choreographed by some of the
greatest names in the world of dance- such as Balanchine, DeMille,
Tudor, Nebrada, North, and Renvall. The New Jersey Ballet will perform
favorites from the repertory at the Spring Concerts.

High Street in Hackettstown.

Tickets for the NJ Ballet are $20 general admission,
$17.50 for seniors and students, and $15 for children/12 and under.
