An evening of exciting and dramatic works from a classical and contemporary
repertory is an eagerly anticipated event, when the New Jersey Ballet
makes its annual return to the Centenary Performing Arts Guild in
Hackettstown on Saturday, November 17 at 8 pm & Sunday, November
18 at 5 pm.
Drawing from a repertoire of over 60 works, highlights of this
exquisite company's November performances will include Balanchine's
Valse Fantasies, one of the famed choreographer's most romantic
works, with an elegant interpretation of Michael Glinka's music,
and excerpts from his Pas de Dix, with music by Alexander
Glazuonov. Also on the program will be Reflections on the Pond,
a pas de deux by NJB principal dancer Andrei Jouravlev, and the
pas de deux from the recently premiered George Sand, An Intimate
Portrait, by resident choreographer George Tomal. Closing the
program will be Saturday Night, a blues/jazz ballet to the
music of Etta James and Keb' Mo.
Tickets for the NJ Ballet are $17.50 (general reserved), $15 (seniors
& students) and $12.50 (children under 12). Tickets for the performances
