         School for Wives

School for Wives By Molière. The CSC Classic Comedy Series continues with this riotously funny gem from the 17th century by Molière. Out of his own experience and personal suffering, Molière crafted the play, School for Wives, a witty perfectly constructed gem of confusion that manages to chronicle the biggest hopes and lowest agonies of love.

! a classic comedy by Moliere. A con man poses as a religious guru and insinuates himself into the home of a well to do gentleman. Over the course of the play, he schemes to seduce his benefactors wife, marry his daughter and swindle him of all he possesses. A classic tale of hypocrisy, seduction and greed.

Colleen Smith Wallnau returns to the Centenary Stage to portray the role of the inimitable Mrs. Malaprop. A New Jersey favorite, Al Morhmann, will perform the role of Sir Anthony Absolute.
Also featured were Doug Shapiro as Acres,
Steven L. Barron as Faulkland and Amanda Baker as the lovely Lydia Languish.
