Things are amiss in Bea and Lenny's "Dreamhouse" in the new
comedy of the same name, premiering at Centenary Stage Company
(CSC) this month. Their barco-lounger has a mind of its own,
voices are coming out of the TV, and there are footsteps
overhead, as Bea embarks on an unusual plan to set things
right again.

Playwright Darrah Cloud will be on hand in Hackettstown,
during the rehearsal and performances of her wacky
new play, which was based on a true story about
a family in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania. Dreamhouse,
directed by Jeffrey Hayenga, runs February 23 through
March 10 at the Centenary Theatre.
In addition to her work for the stage, Cloud has
a number of teleplays to her credit in the last
several years, She has written regularly for CBS
television, including the features, A Holiday
Romance which aired this December starring Andy
Griffith, Naomi Judd and Gerald McRainey. Her Hallmark
Hall of Fame teleplay, Night Ride Home starred
Rebecca De Mornay.

for PBS' American Playhouse, and just left on National Tour
with John Houseman's famed Acting Company this past December.
Some of her other works for the stage include The Stick
Wife, The Sirens, American Siddhartha and Heartland
( a musical which has just been optioned for Broadway, with
Susan Schulman directing). Cloud is an alumnus of the renown

and New Dramatists.
