The David and Carol Lackland Center in Hackettstown will host Centenary Stage Company’s annual JANUARY JAZZ FEST in the Sitnik Theatre. The second weekend of the Jazz Fest will feature a celebration of legendary female jazz vocalists Anita O’Day, June Christy, Chris Connor, and Julie London performed by sultry singer Kathy Kosins on Saturday, January 19th at 8 p.m.

Award-winning performer Kathy Kosins toasts these classic jazz vocalists known for their West-Coast-Cool style in her concert “To The Ladies of Cool.” This concert is a multimedia event featuring a live band, musical shorts, videos, and rarely seen photographs of each of the ladies plus stories behind the songs themselves. Kosins’ ensemble includes Jon Weber on Piano, Ben Wolfe on Bass, and Donald Edwards on drums. The Village Voice says of Kathy Kosins, “She has a voice that commands attention, and a band that rewards it.”

Kathy Kosins will be performing “To the Ladies of Cool” on Saturday, January 19th at 8:00 p.m. in the Sitnik Theatre.
