The Jay Leonhart Trio will be heating up the stage with their cool jazz style on July 15th at 8pm, as the Jazz in July Series continues at the Centenary Stage Co. and Performing Arts Guild. One of the world's great Bass player's leads this Trio featuring Bill Mays on Piano and John Reilly on Drums.
Jay Leonhart, already considered one of the great jazz bassists of our time, is also one of the most intriguing and interesting performers on the stage today. With his virtuoso performance and wry, witty commentary, Jay is a consummate performer and creative artist; a fine singer, and inventive songwriter and lyricists. Joining are Bill Mays, piano and John Reilly, drums. Bill's eclectic career as a pianist, with deep roots in jazz, gospel, pop and classical music spans the last four decades. John Reilly's tremendous, versatile talent on drums rounds out the trio.

The Centenary Performing Arts Guild will feature, “Jazz in July”, a four concert series beginning Saturday, July 7th at 8pm in the air conditioned Centenary Theatre on the campus of Centenary College in Hackettstown NJ. See Directions. The Centenary Theatre, with limited seating, is a perfect venue for small jazz groups, providing the audience with a close up experience both in sound, visibility and intimacy.

Jazz In July Tickets are $22.50 per person in advance and $27.50
at the door. The four concert series can also be purchased in advanced for $80.
