The Young Performers Workshop, an acclaimed professional theatre training program for young people ages 8 - 18, will feature their Spring Festival of Shows beginning May 23 - June 1 with GEORGE M! and CABARET.
George M!
George M! is a musical biography
of George M. Cohan one of America's legendary
Broadway playwright, song writer and dancer, depicting America during the late 1800's through early 1940's. Get ready
for some toe tapping vaudevillian style dancing with heroic patriotic songs such as "Over There"! (more about

Cabaret
Cabaret is set in 1929-1930 Berlin on the
eve of the Nazis' rise to power focusing on nightlife
at the seedy Kit Kat Klub following the exploits of an English 19-year-old
cabaret performer
and her relationship with young American writer. Through the songs of the Cabaret's Emcee, the audience witnesses the
political changes taking place. Original Broadway choreography by Ron Field and 1972 Academy Award winning musical film
directed by Bob Fosse, CABARET will delight and astound audience members with famous choreography and music. (more about

Young Performers Workshop Program
Hailed "a state treasure" by the Star Ledger, the YPW is the educational arm of the Centenary Performing Arts
Guild and The Centenary Stage Company, a professional Equity theatre in residence at Centenary College, 400 Jefferson
Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840. Under the auspices of Producing Director, Carl
Wallnau, the YPW is led by Broadway performer,
choreographer, film, and television veteran Michael Blevins, and is staffed by theatre professionals.

Registration - YPW Summer Program
The Young Performers Workshop, an acclaimed professional theatre training program for young people ages 8 - 18, will
hold two more interview dates: Saturday, May 10th at 1:00 pm and Saturday, May 23rd at 4:30 pm for the YPW Summer Intensive
five week program beginning July 21 - August 24, 2008.

years of age are $8.00.
