Mission
The Summer Dance Intensive provides the dance community with affordable high-quality dance instruction by masters in the field of dance. The dance intensive is designed to introduce young dancers to professionals who are currently working as choreographers, dancers, and educators.
About The Program
The Centenary Stage company, will sponsor the first annual Summer Dance Intensive at Centenary College. The three day intensive provides the dance community with affordable high-quality dance instruction by master in the field of dance. "The dance intensive is designed to introduce young dancers to professionals who are currently working as choreographers, dancers and educators in the world of dance and theatre." states Lea Antolini-Lid, assistant professor of dance and theatre at Centenary College. The Dance Intensive runs July 10th -12th from 9-5pm each day. During the first part of the day, students will engage in various disciplines of dance and movement such as modern, jazz, ballet and yoga. In the afternoon, students will participate in a three-hour workshop that will be lead by professional choreographers and dancers.

| Trista Redavid, former member of the Nicolais /Louis Dance Company will lead a workshop in the technique and
repertory of the Nicolais/Louis Company. Ms. Redavid received her BFA in dance from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers and her
MA in dance from NYU. She traveled nationally and internationally with the Nicolais/Louis dance company. She started her own company
R-2 Dance which has presented works at SWEAT modern dance series, and at the Hatch in NYC. Trista is the head of dance at the Hudson
County School of Technology in North Bergen. |

About Trista Redavid
Trista Received her BFA in dance from the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers and her MA in dance from New York University.
In 1992 she was awarded a scholarship from the American Dance Festival to study at Nikolais/Louis Dance lab in New York City.
In 1994 she was invited to join the Nicolais/Louis dance company. She traveled nationally and internationally with the company
and was featured in many works of both Alwin Nikolais and Murray Louis. Currently Trista is a member of the Nikolais Legacy
Committee which is responsible for preserving Nik's artistic visions and his artistry in the modern dance world. In addition
to her work with the company, Trista has also performed with BEYONDANCE, Inc., Janetti/Haver, Accordance Theatre Free Fall
Dance Company and many more. She has performed original works by Claudia Gitelman, Don Redlich, Ronald K Brown, Amy Pivar,
Bill T Jones, and Beverly Blossom. Her own choreography had been performed in many venues including Rutgers University, Monroe
Street Movement Space, Marymount Manhattan Theatre, and Fredrick Lowe Theatre. She started her own company R-2 dance with colleague
Sarah Geroulo-Rutledge. Their work has been presented at SWEAT Modern dance series, and at Hatch in NYC. Trista is the head
of dance at the Hudson County School of Technology in North Bergen, NJ where she is Head of the Dance Department.

| Michael Blevins will lead a workshop in the disciplines of musical theatre dance and tap. Mr. Blevins attended
the University of North Carolina and NYU majoring in theatre and dancer. He is a noted choreographer and director in New York City.
He has appeared in several Broadway productions including Bring Back Birdie, Little Me and the Tap Dance Kid. He also portrayed Mark
in the screen version of "A Chorus Line" Michael runs the state acclaimed Young Performers Workshop, an education annex of the Centenary
Stage Company. |

About Michael Blevins
Michael Blevins is the Young Performers Workshop Director who attended the University Of North Carolina and the New York University
majoring in theatre and dance. He is a noted NYC director and choreographer with credits at The Manhattan Theatre Club and
most recently the GTT revival of Cy Coleman's "Seasaw" at Off Broadway's historic Connelly Theatre , and his own show Count
to Ten recently produced by GTT and performed in Manhattan. He has appeared in several Broadway productions including Bring
Back Birdie, Neil Simon's Little Me, and The Tap Dance Kid, which he created the role of Winslow Alexander. He also portrayed
Mark in the screen version of "A Chorus Line" co-starring Michael Douglas. Other films include Woody Allens "Zelig" and Sir
Richard Attenborough's film "Chaplin. He is presently artistic director of Group Theatre Too, a professional Manhattan Theatre
Collective.

| Justin Boccitto will hold a workshop in the disciplines of musical theatre. Justin is a graduate of Broadway's
Circle in the Square Theatre School. Justin serves as guest faculty at Broadway Dance Center, The Julliard School, Circle in the Square
Theatre School, and Broadway Artists Alliance. He also directs and choreographs for Circle in the Square Theatre School, with credits
including Tenderloin and The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas. |

About Justin Boccitto
Justin Boccitto is a graduate of Broadway's Circle in the Square Theatre School. He trained under Michael Blevins and the YPW
program for 10 years and went on to appear with The Metropolitan Opera, The Willow Cabin Theatre Company and the New York Theatre
Ballet. Justin also appeared with the New Jersey Tap and Theatre Dance Ensemble in Broadway to Brunswick starring Marvin Hamlish
and Rachael York. As an instructor of tap and theatre dance, Justin serves on the Guest Faculty at Broadway Dance Center, The
Julliard School, Circle in the Square Theatre School, and Broadway Artists Alliance. He also directs and choreographs for Circle
in the Square Theatre School with credits including Tenderloin and The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas. Other credits include
Side Show (West Chester Broadway Theatre) The Seven Little Foys (NYC Fringe Festival), Singing in the Rain (MacHaydn Theatre)
and Sweeny Todd (White Plains Performing Arts Center). Justin is the Executive Producer of Group Theatre Too (GTT) in NYC.
GTT has mounted productions of Seesaw, The Subject was Roses, Tape and Count to Ten, which recently received the 2008 National
Youth Theatre Award for best new play.

Additional Dance Faculty
Lea Antolini-Lid (Assistant Professor of Dance/Theatre Centenary College, Teaching Artist Growing Stage Theatre Company, Certified Yoga Instructor)
Received her BMA in classical voice and musical theatre from the University of the Arts, an MFA from Brandeis University, and is a Certified
Yoga Instructor. Some of her professional performance credits include Floyd Collins, (directed by Tina Landau), Nunsense, Sunday in the Park
with George, Midsummer Night's Dream, Suessical, Frog and Toad, and most recently the world premiere Christmas at Small 's Empire Music Hall.
Lea continues dance training in NYC.
Kristen Egan (Adjunct Professor of Dance County College of Morris and Centenary College) received her BA in dance from DeSalles University in Center Valley, PA and currently teaches and choreographs in Northern NJ. During her college career, Kristin performed in Another Metal, Spirals, and Falling Off the Back Porch. She has performed with VADA Dance Collective in Philadelphia and with Influxdance Company based in Virginia. Kristin continues dance training in NYC.
Christine Mase (Teaching Artist Centenary College and Branchville Dance Center) received her BFA from the University of the Arts, dance training with New Jersey Ballet, and Joffrey Ballet NYC. Recent choreography and Directing Credits include Nunsense, Fame , Love Letter's (Shawnee Playhouse) The Nutcraker and Junie B Jones (The Growing Stage Theatre.) She was last seen on the stage in The Secrete Garden.
Pat Lanciano (Adjunct Professor Centenary College) attended CCM where she studied modern dance. Pat received her dance training in NYC from noted artists such as Luigi, Charles Kelly, and David Howard. She continues to train and study dance in NYC and NJ.
