Online Ordering System -
A Big Success with Patrons

Our Online Ordering System has now been in use since November 2002. We have hundreds of new names added to our mail list and many happy ordering experiences according to our Patron's comments after using the system. The biggest part of our budget goes towards programming rather than towards administration which is why the system has been a big help for easy ordering for our Patrons as well as reduced administrative requirement on our box office.

We appreciate that our Patrons took the time to make these comments about their ordering experience (2002-2003 Season). The comments are shown with their own punctuation and smiley faces of enthusiasm:

(This is a smaller theatre. Every seat has a great view. For this reason, it was decided not to put a more complex seating choice function online - in response to this comment, we did add a Seating Chart)

Note: This is a smaller theatre. Every seat has a great view. For this reason, it was decided not to put a more complex seating choice function online.

Note: By the nature of the box office, there are times when the office is not manned - that's where the online ticketing system shines! With its ability to offer around the clock access to ordering all of the remaining shows and the ability for the system to do edits to be sure the order is right, using the system is like adding multiple quality people to your staff.

Note: As a result, we increased the size of the lettering inviting the patron to print the page prior to the comment request/final confirmation page - that prior page does include the date and number of tickets (Sample). We also send a confirming email.
