Shelia and Bernie Abrams are two local newspaper columnists who were seriously injured in a car accident on Dec. 16th. Their vehicle was destroyed and their injuries were life threatening, but both are expected to make a full recovery. Unfortunately, both still have a long recovery ahead before they are able to return to work. Shelia and Bernie have worked in the Northern New Jersey area for over 30 years, and are best known for their entertainment and pet articles. The Abrams were also avid supporters of the Centenary Stage Company and Performing Arts Guild, frequenting performances and writing reviews and features on CSC productions for over two decades. Artistic director Carl Wallnau states "Shelia and Bernie have been friends of CSC for many years. Shelia has been one of the most articulate and insightful reviewer that we have had here. We wish her and her husband a speedy and full recovery so they can both get back to doing what they do best. We can only hope that our contribution to their Recovery Fund will help offset any outstanding medical bills that they have accumulated over the last two months. Half the proceeds from the opening night's ticket sales will go to help pay for their astronomical medical expenses. We would like to encourage all who have enjoyed their writing or who are friends of the Abrams to attend this performance and contribute to their recovery fund." You can purchase tickets for the opening night of Quartermaine's Terms by calling the box office at 908-979-0900 or by using our Secure Online Ticketing on this site. Tickets for the Friday 8pm performance are $17.50 for adults, $15 for students and seniors and $12.50 for children. Anyone who cannot attend but who would like to donate to the Abram's Recovery fund can send checks:
