| Centenary Stage Company, an Equity theatre in residence on the campus
of Centenary College in Hackettstown, will hold auditions for the World Premiere of Daphne Does Dim Sum,
or Mai Dan! by Eugenie Chan, which will be performed Feb 22 - March 9,
2008.
An Open call Audition for Equity and Non-Equity Actors will be held at the theatre in Hackettstown (400 Jefferson
Street, Hackettstown) on January 9, from 12 noon - 8 pm. No appointments are necessary for the Open Call, and
attendees will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis. A dinner break will occur from 4:30-5:30 PM. A "reader" will
be provided for the auditionees. Present at these auditions: Producer Catherine Rust and Director Kate Lyn Reiter.

First rehearsal will be Feb 4th; Sides will be available at the audition.

- Daphne Ong age 65
Asian American: Retired bank employee and long-time friend of Bessie; colorful
and exuberant.
- Bessie Kuo age 73
Asian American: Former bank manager and long-time friend of Daphne; reserved and
professional.
- Alan Kuo, age 63 (Bessie's brother);
Asian American : Alan is a "player"; flamboyant, charming.
- Waiter, any age Asian/ Asian American
