at Centenary Stage Company

"Volunteers truly are the lifeblood of any arts organization."
          Carl Wallnau,
          Producing Director

The Centenary Stage Company has the perfect opportunity for music lovers who would like to enjoy great entertainment on a budget. CSC is once again seeking volunteer ushers for the 2010 Jazz in January concert series, which will present three exciting concerts on January 16, 23th and 30th at 8 PM. Artists for the concerts will include 17-piece Manhattan Symphony Jazz Orchestra (Jan 16), The “String of Pearls,” singing authentic recreations of great singers from the 1930s, such as the  Boswell Sisters, as well as the Andrews Sisters to Sinatra, Basie, Brazillian, Be-bop and Pop on Jan 23, and the Jay Leonhart All-Star Sextet on Jan 30th.

Patrons interested in volunteering as an usher will see the concert for free on the evening that they participate.  Volunteering at CSC is also a great resource for Community Service hours for students meeting their service commitments.

For more information, or to request a volunteer date, contact Catherine Rust or Pat Lanciano at the Centenary Stage Company administrative offices at 908-979-0900 x 5, and find out how much fun “working” can be.
