Young Performers Workshop is dedicated to the enrichment of young lives through experience in the theatre arts, and serves as a venue for cultivating young theatre performers between the ages of eight and 18. The program is one of only a handful in the nation that offers both formal training and production experience for young people.

All performances are run in rep with alternating performance dates and times. Please check performance calendar carefully for specific performance dates and times.

Assassins

A multiple Tony Award-winning theatrical tour-de-force. From John Wilkes Booth to Lee Harvey Oswald, Stephen Sondheim and John Weidman, bend the rules of time and space, taking us on a nightmarish roller coaster ride in which assassins and would-be assassins from different historical periods meet, interact and inspire each other to harrowing acts in the name of the American Dream. Presented by special arrangement with Musical Theatre International.

Liza Minelli took Broadway by storm in this "concept musical" about a Las Vegas nightclub performer named Michelle Craig, a has been movie star now trying to make a comeback. Presented by special arrangement with Samuel French.

Polkadots: The Cool Kids Musical

8-year-old Lily Polkadot just moved to the "Squares Only" small town of Rockaway. As the first polkadot in an all Square school, Lily faces an almost impossible task of gaining acceptance. Inspired by the events of The Little Rock 9, Polkadots serves as a colorful history lesson for children, reminding them that our individual differences make us awesome.

Wait Until Dark

A Broadway hit, this masterfully constructed thriller moves from one moment of suspense to another as it builds toward an electrifying, breath-stopping final scene. Sinister con man, Roat, and two ex-convicts are about to meet their match in Susy Hendrix. When the men attempt to recover a mysterious doll, a deadly game of cat and mouse ensues. Presented by special arrangement with Dramatists Play Services.
