"A hail of fun and frolic - Nunsense, like the holy mother church, is a bona fide institution."

The Little Sisters of Hoboken discover their cook, Sister Julia, Child of God, has accidentally poisoned 52 of the sisters, and they are in dire need of funds for the burials.  They decide the best way to raise money is to put on a variety show, so they take over the school auditorium, which is currently set up for the eight grade production of "Grease."

The first musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber & Tim Rice.  A timeless work, the rock opera is set against the backdrop of an extraordinary and universally-known series of events but seen, unusually, through the eyes of Judas Iscariot.  Loosely based on the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, Superstar follows the last week of Jesus Christ's life.

Presenting Assassins, The Act, Polkadots: The Cool Kids Musical, Wait Until Dark and the Mini-Musicals/One Act Playhouse.

 

Dedicated to the enrichment of young lives through experience in the theatre arts, the Young Performers Workshop serves as a venue for cultivating young theatre performers between the ages of 8 -18.  The program is one of only a handful in the nation to offer both formal training and production experience for young people.

Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, Darlene Love is the voice that helped launch a hundred hits: the No. 1 "He's a Rebel," "(Today I Met) the Boy I'm Gonna Marry," "He's Sure the Boy I Love" and "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)," all of which she sang for the legendary producer Phil Spector during the glory days of the girl-group era.  Rolling Stone Magazine has proclaimed Darlene Love to be "one of the greatest singers of all time".

Polkadots: The Cool Kids Musical

8-year-old Lily Polkadot just moved to the "Squares Only" small town of Rockaway.  As the first Polkadot in an all Square school, Lily faces an almost impossible task of gaining acceptance from her peers.  Inspired by the events of The Little Rock 9, Polkadots: The Cool Kids Musical serves as a colorful history lesson for children, reminding them that our individual differences make us awesome.

In Maine near the Canadian border there's a legend of a phantom locomotive sweeping through a peaceful village leaving death in its wake.  Accidentally stranded in the waiting room of this railway station, despite a psychic station master's weird stories of a ghost train, six passengers decide to stay the night.  Soon they regret this decision as ghostly and not so ghostly apparitions materialize and the Ghost train comes barreling down the line.

Based on the literary classic, The Things They Carried is the powerful retelling of Tim O'Brien's personal journey from his innocent years in rural Minnesota to the jungles of Vietnam.  A one-person tour-de-force, this play explores the lines between truth and reality as fact and fiction blur in this unforgettable soldiers journey.

This uniquely entertaining music and multimedia event chronicles the extraordinary career of Simon & Garfunkel.  Featuring Rex Fowler, co-founder of renowned folk/rock duo Aztec Two-Step, Dodie Pettit an original cast member of Broadway's Phantom of the Opera and singer and multi-instrumentalist Steven Roues.  The show's story-line was originally created by Pete Fornatale and narrated by WCWP radio host Tony Traguardo.

If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity.

It all started in 1962.  Antonio Carlos Jobim wrote the songs, "The Girl from Ipanema", "Corcovado", and "Wave". The music hit North America and it was an explosion of Grammy's and Billboard hits. Stan Getz and Charlie Burd's famous album "Jazz Samba" from April 1962, hit #1 on The Billboard Pop Chart. Now world-renowned artists Ken Peplowski and Diego Figueredo recreate music from this era, but in their own special way.
