Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, Darlene Love is the voice that helped launch a hundred hits: the No. 1 "He's a Rebel," "(Today I Met) the Boy I'm Gonna Marry," "He's Sure the Boy I Love" and "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)," all of which she sang for the legendary producer Phil Spector during the glory days of the girl-group era.  Rolling Stone Magazine has proclaimed Darlene Love to be "one of the greatest singers of all time".

The Rodney Marsalis Philadelphia Big Brass is composed of some of America's top brass musicians dedicated to bringing the joyous experience of great music to a wide range of audiences.  A group that reflects the diverse makeup of men and women in American culture, The Rodney Marsalis Philadelphia Big Brass is dedicated to the notion that music is a gift to be enjoyed by everyone.

It all started in 1962.  Antonio Carlos Jobim wrote the songs, "The Girl from Ipanema", "Corcovado", and "Wave". The music hit North America and it was an explosion of Grammy's and Billboard hits. Stan Getz and Charlie Burd's famous album "Jazz Samba" from April 1962, hit #1 on The Billboard Pop Chart. Now world-renowned artists Ken Peplowski and Diego Figueredo recreate music from this era, but in their own special way.
